I Want to Learn About the World

I have tried so hard all my life to be sheltered. To keep my innocents. I want to be beautiful and focused, like a Disney princess. But, I see now how I don’t know the world at all. I see it as acquaintances. I want to see more of the world, understand it. Yet, I am also afraid that the world will break my heart. I guess it is unavoidable. I guess I have been so afraid that I ran away from the world which is stupid knowing that I live in the world. I want to embrace it and learn more. I hope to let my fears pass away and embrace the world as it is. Amen.
